Central African Republic Reportedly Launches Crypto Coin, Bitcoiners Slam Move
Central African Republic (CAR) president Faustin-Archange Touadera announced recently that cryptocurrencies are an alternative to cash. Bitcoiners, however, insist the top cryptocurrency is the only solution to the CAR’s money problems.
Ekonomi Formal Bukan Pilihan
Presiden Republik Afrika Tengah Faustin-Archange Touadera berkata mata wang kripto adalah alternatif kepada wang tunai fiat. Touadera juga mendakwa bahawa "ekonomi formal bukan lagi pilihan" untuk CAR.
Menurut seorang Zawya melaporkan, kenyataan pro-crypto terbaru Touadera dibuat sebaik negaranya melancarkan syiling Sango, aset crypto yang didakwa pegawai akan digunakan untuk mengakses sumber asli CAR.
"Sango Coin akan menjadi mata wang generasi baharu Republik Afrika Tengah," kata Presiden Touadera dipetik menjelaskan.
Meanwhile, in one of his tweets before launching the so-called Sango Crypto Hub initiative, Touadera insisted that digital gold (bitcoin) will serve as an “engine for our civilization” in the future in the same way gold has done in the past.
Syiling Sango Ditanya

On Twitter, some bitcoin are questioning the motives behind CAR’s decision to launch its crypto coin as, in their view, bitcoin is already the solution that the country needs.
