Bitcoin Dives Below USD 20,000, Ethereum Breaks USD 1,000
On Saturday, bitcoin (BTC), the most popular cryptocurrency and cryptoasset, dropped below USD 20,000 for the first time since December 2020, while the second-largest cryptoasset, ethereum (ETH), broke the USD 1,000 level for the first time since January 2021.
On Sunday, at 07:06 UTC, BTC trades at USD 18,294 and is down 6% in a day and 36% in a week. ETH changes hands at USD 956 and is also down 6% in a day and 37% in a week.
